038 | Paul Austin on Microdosing Psychedelics 201 & Psychedelic Integration Coaching

Psychedelic use is an incredibly important meta-skill. The skill of psychedelics teaches us is how to manage uncertainty, adapt to the unknown, stay centred in the midst of chaos and, through that grounding, to create the life we want to create.

Where to find out more about Paul Austin:

Paul F. Austin is an entrepreneur, public speaker, and educator. He has founded two companies in the emerging psychedelic space, Third Wave and Synthesis.

Within Third Wave, Paul leads his team in building an educational platform to ensure psychedelic substances become responsibly integrated into our cultural framework.

Currently, Third Wave offers long-form psychedelic guides, online microdosing programs, and an industry-best network of clinics and retreat providers.

In 2018, Paul co-founded Synthesis, and led several high-dose psilocybin truffle retreats over the span of one year. When not leading retreats, Paul headed up branding, marketing, and public relations for Synthesis before stepping back to focus on Third Wave full-time.

Because of his pioneering work at the intersection of psychedelic use, personal transformation, and professional success, Paul has been featured in the BBC, Forbes, and Rolling Stone.

Paul sees psychedelic use as a skill, one that becomes more refined as we explore the many nuances of these awe-inspiring medicines and molecules.

Learning how to hone this skill will be crucial in the story of humanity’s present-future evolution.

More research is helpful, and, more research is not going to accelerate the legitimization and destigmatization of psychedelics. In other words, we don’t need research to prove that microdosing should be legal. Microdosing should be legal because it’s safe, non-addictive, beneficial and healthy.
