Welcome.

Modern Psychedelics is a place to explore the transformations made possible through intentional engagement with psychedelics.

My name is Lana Pribic, and I am honored to take this journey with you.

Mission Statement

The mission at Modern Psychedelics is to improve the state of humanity through the sharing of information and meaningful personal experiences with psychedelics.

Core Values

  • Above all, we bow to the ancient wisdom of the earth, its medicine, and medicine keepers and guides. We recognize that they have been here long before our modern society. We also affirm that their teachings are the starting point for understanding psychedelics.

  • Awareness—consciousness—is the first step towards transformation. Healing, human optimization, and evolution begin with inner awareness.

  • Each human has an inner guidance system referred to as intuition. When activated, intuition is the highest form of knowing. We are all capable of tapping into our intuition in unique ways, and when we do, we are being guided by a higher, often inexplainable, intelligence.

  • The pursuit of Truth is the pursuit of universal laws that are true regardless of social consensus and indoctrinations. The pursuit of personal truth is the pursuit of truths that are true for us as an individual. but perhaps not for everyone (aka the stories we well ourselves which greatly impact our lives). Psychedelics help us to ask the big questions about life and receive answers, ultimately reshaping our understanding of the Universe, Life, and the stories we tell about ourselves.

  • Psychedelics are undeniably effective agents for transformation. Yet, the soul path of coming back to Love is the true medicine. Psychedelics help us to shed the layers of false identity and remember that our true nature is Love. As we remember this, we can approach life from a place of love instead of fear.

Lana Pribic

My name is Lana Pribic, and my journey with psychedelics began in my early 20s through rave culture, where these substances opened doors in my mind that had long been closed. A few years later, I transitioned to working with plant medicines in ceremonial settings, a healing path I chose instead of continuing talk therapy. Life events left me shattered, but it was through psychedelics and plant medicine that I found the way back to myself. They freed me from a deep sense of unworthiness that was draining my life force—and now, this work is my passion, vocation, and spiritual path. Growing up in a war-zone and navigating the immigrant experience gave me plenty to work through, but I made it through to the other side. Hear more about my story in this podcast episode.

The transformative power of these medicines and the expansion of consciousness have had a profound effect on my life. Today, my mission is to share this potential for growth, healing, and connection with others through my podcast and coaching practice.

In 2024, I co-founded Kanna Wellness alongside my parents to bring this beautiful legal psychoactive flower to the public. I’m passionate about providing safe and intentional avenues for people to explore the potential of these substances for themselves, in a gentle way.

I’m an ICF Professional Life Coach with over 230 hours of professional training and four coaching certifications. I specialize in psychedelically-informed coaching, helping people deeply integrate the insights from their psychedelic experiences. I firmly believe that while healing is important, we aren’t meant to spend our entire lives in that process—the purpose of life is to live fully in the present moment.

Through the Modern Psychedelics Podcast and my coaching practice, I strive to validate all safe and intentional engagements with psychedelics. I believe every psychedelic experience, whether it happens in a ceremonial space, a clinical setting, a therapist’s office, through self-sitting, or even on the dance floor, can be a meaningful point of growth and transformation.

When I’m not sharing insights on psychedelics or guiding others through their transformation process, you’ll probably find me dancing to electronic beats, creating art in the kitchen, practicing patience with my cat, curating my dream wardrobe, or diving into a good book on psychedelics or personal growth.

Features & Interviews

She talks about her early days of rave culture and MDMA, to developing a problem with alcohol, to where she is today: finding joy in the simple things in life, embracing recreational psychedelics, and continuously working on herself while understanding that psychedelic experiences are not the be-all, end-all medicine, and that taking space to integrate learned lessons is where the true potential lies. She recognizes that many of us set out to heal trauma or work on something specific, but often get caught in a “healing trap,” where a victim energy ends up holding us back – and keeps us coming back. When is the healing done? When do these experiences become a habit or escape? What are we not integrating?
